I haven’t read Randy’s book yet – have read a bunch of his other ones. He’s one of my favorite authors. Will have to check this one out.

Excellent post! You’re to be commended for doing this. Yes, we’re definitely seeing the results of a lack of financial education all around us.

I designed projects for this purpose and have used them with my kids (working with #3 right now, in fact). Iput them into a book called Life Prep for Homeschooled Teenagers. There’s a free project from the book (”The Car Purchase Project” available at my website, if you’re interested.

Have you read Money, Possessions and Eternity by Randy Alcorn? It’s like a graduate study in money and stewardship. Another good resource is http://www.crown.org.
